Your appointment will include ear examination with high-definition video otoscopy (a camera which allows the clinician to see the procedure in real-time). Ear wax will be gently removed with a fine suction technique called micro-suction. This is recognised as best practice for removing troublesome ear wax - the safest procedure currently available, with minimal discomfort.
